| The (lack of) Service Industry here [home] [next topic] | |
| If you're not a
newcomer, you should have a pretty good grip on how the
"Service" here works. I have fired 3 lawn service companies so far. Because Las Vegas is
growing to the tune of 5000 people a month, and those
people are trying to buy services, almost all of the
service businesses are succeeding. In a more calm
environment, a service business would have to perform
professionally, but here, it seems the best you can do, a
lot of times, is just get on the phone with someone. We
are not going to work that way. We are going to add to
our customer list, hopefully, but when we get loaded up,
we aren't going to bury ourselves. We actually have
worked on an expansion plan, it's ready to be
implemented, and I, personally, am going to see to it
that we don't get so overloaded that we can't take care
of our established customers. My number one pet peeve,
business-wise, is promising somebody something and not
delivering. We are a very new company, but this is one
problem we are going to solve. For more information, go back to the home page and see the next topic. |
