City-wide Rates, including ours [home] [next topic]
Las Vegas has 5000 people a month moving here, at last count. Las Vegas has over 200 Pest Control companies providing service. One would presume that everyone, with the population already here, plus the new folks who have no idea of who to call, would be doing well. One would assume that the rates would be not too cheap since those Pest Control Operators have to pay for the same things they buy just like everyone else, and, due to the market, they wouldn't have to compete on price. Guess again.

All but a double handful, maybe of those 200 companies are extremely small, one, maybe two men or women. (Sorta like us right now) A lot of them are basically service tech who worked for one of the "Big Guys" for a while, got tired of the boss, and hung out their own shingle. Even if they know what they're doing on the service work, business management is not their long suit. Sales, either. So, they run across work, you can't help it in this market, and because they want the business, they price it under what it really needs to be. (Yeah, I can tell you what it needs to be to make the business a reasonable profit-making company. I have a college degree in exactly that and over 20 years in the pest control business.) A lot of them think that the only way they can compete is selling work cheap, so they do.

Because we are just getting started, we, too, are going to charge a little less than what we think is a rational price. Sort of an introductory thing, but it isn't going to stay there long. Furthermore, we'll earn it, the way we do our work. Of course, if your house is very large, we'll charge a little more, but not a whole lot. Concerning pricing, we do differently than a lot of companies....we don't charge a start up fee, unless of course, we get into a lot of extra work. Why should we? We do as thorough a job every month as a "first-service" is supposed to be, done by other companies. There's no difference, why should we charge different?

Please note: this site is under reconstruction. More pricing info coming soon. Bottom line is our prices are fair and we do a great job.
